Vivian Coleman, BSc, B Theol, MTS. M Bus, is an experienced church minister, and leadership advisor, now works independently with pastoral leaders and congregations from her home in Auckland, New Zealand. Vivian is a practical theologian who has researched Eldership, Infant Initiation, and Change in the Church at postgraduate level. Vivian coaches pastoral leaders through conversation, journaling assignments, feedback, and evaluation. Her 2015 M.Bus research thesis Realistic and hopeful: Baptist and Presbyterian experience of clergy review in New Zealand is providing useful guidance to church leaders about effective review conversations. Coaching conversations – usually an hour once a month - can take place in person or over the phone/Skype. Vivian also coaches church groups in discipleship, spirituality and leadership, and is open to creative requests for consultations that do not fit into a set category.
